And the day came
When the risk it took
to remain tight inside the bud
was more painful
than the risk it took
to bloom.

Whether you write for yourself or for publication there is something for you at Women Who Write. We invite you to join us.

Among us are members who write poetry, novels, essays or articles for literary journals, magazines or newspapers. Members who write to preserve their personal histories for their children and grandchildren. Writers who are beginning or putting the finishing touches on novels, poetry, chapbooks, memoirs and books of poetry. Writers who write specifically for children–creating manuscripts for picture books, chapter books, middle grade novels and young adult fiction.

Members of Women Who Write connect and learn from each other in critique groups and workshops, share their work at our public Spring and Fall readings, submit their work to our literary magazine, Goldfinch, and contribute their time and talent by making Women Who Write a vital resource in our communities.

Check us out by reading our blog, by coming to our readings or by visiting one of our critique groups.

Have any questions?

Email us at membership@womenwhowrite.org. If any member would like to start a critique group in her area, help from Women Who Write will be provided.
