Thanks to Lois Sarvetnick, our membership chairman, an opportunity for
new, prospective, and current members to meet, mingle, and exchange
information took place at our Winter Coffee on December 4th. at
the Madison Community
House. After the women introduced themselves and described their
writing experiences, several read from their work. From the responses
that followed,
it was obvious that an enthusiasm for writing had been rekindled
in all of us.

Our Spring Reading was a big success. We had twelve readers who shared a variety
of readings ranging from poetry, personal essays, short stories, novel entries
and song.
Despite the weather, the turn out was good. Members and perspective
members made up the enthusiastic audience.
